Additional Arrests in Operation Infinity Drug Round-Up

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces three additional arrests in the seventh “Operation Infinity” drug round-up that began on Sept. 25. Officers from the Seneca, Walhalla and Westminster Police Departments are assisting the Sheriff’s Office in the drug sweep operation. In all, 19 individuals were being sought on a variety of drug distribution charges that stretched from methamphetamine to marijuana to crack to cocaine to heroin to prescription drugs. As part of this phase of “Operation Infinity,” four individuals were also being sought on warrants on charges of unlawful neglect of a child. The three additional arrests occurred between midnight Monday and midnight Thursday. In all, 18 have been arrested so far and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking five more.
