Additional arrests in Tenth “Operation Infinity” Drug Round Up

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces an additional arrest and additional charges in the 10th “Operation Infinity” drug round up. The Sheriff’s Office began the operation last Friday. In all, 14 individuals were being sought on a variety of drug distribution and two on unlawful neglect of a child charges. So far, eight individuals have been arrested. The latest individual arrested was 36-year-old Frankie Jessie Campbell of Seneca on three counts of distribution of methamphetamine. The Sheriff’s Office also filed an additional charge against an individual wanted in the drug sweep as a result of the execution of a search warrant on Friday. Arrested on a trafficking warrant was 61-year-old Lamar Cobb after the search warrant was executed. As a result, Cobb was charged with another drug trafficking charge due to the discovery of around 21.66 grams of methamphetamine at the residence. The Sheriff’s Office is still seeking eight others as part of the tenth “Operation Infinity” drug sweep.
