AdvanceSC awards Clemson $40K for STEM Literacy Efforts

Clemson University is the recipient of a $40,000 grant from AdvanceSC for a program to improve science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) literacy among Upstate students. The program is held in cooperation with Tri-County Technical College and the Anderson, Oconee and Pickens County school districts. The grant will support an integrative STEM education institute and follow-up professional development workshops that will train Anderson, Oconee and Pickens county teachers to integrate STEM education activities into their classrooms.
