Allegedly Stolen Truck Leads to Drug Bust

Ryan Allen Wolford, now detained at the Anderson County Detention Center, is facing multiple charges. His troubles began when deputies stopped a stolen truck he was driving on Highway 28 Bypass in Anderson County. The truck contained 15 grams of methamphetamine and over seven grams of a mixture of Fentanyl and Amphetamine, leading to immediate charges of drug trafficking and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Additional charges, including grand larceny, were pending.

Wolford was served warrants on January 17, 2024, for grand larceny, following his initial arrest on January 12, 2024, for drug trafficking. His charges include possession of controlled substances, trafficking in fentanyl, methamphetamine or cocaine base, and two counts of grand larceny. The total bond set for all these charges is $230,000.
