Amenities coming to Downtown Seneca CAT Bus Stop

Amenities are coming to the downtown Seneca CAT Bus Stop on Railroad Street. The city has hired a contractor to install restrooms and an awning, explains Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander. “There is a lot of work that is getting ready to take place down there where the buses actually stop and get charged, there are going to be some amenities added there. They are building some restrooms and covered sheds there for the people to be able to get out of the sun and sit down. That is part of a project that we have been planning and that will probably start within the next week.” The city recently added similar covered awnings to the CAT Bus Stop on the campus of Oconee Memorial Hospital.
