Anderson Apartment Fire now ruled Arson

A fire last month in Anderson County has now been ruled arson.  The Anderson County Fire Chief reports that the fire at Azalea Apartments on August 14 was intentionally set.  More than 30 families were left homeless after the fire, so, the American Red Cross opened an emergency shelter at Oakdale Baptist Church on Highway 24 in Townville to assist those in need.  Investigators with the Anderson County Fire Department, SLED and ATF are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
