Anderson County Hit and Run Under Investigation

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a hit and run that happened just after 6:00am this morning. Witnesses said a car hit a bicyclist on Beaverdam Road near Beaver Run Lane in Williamston in Anderson County.

The bicyclist was flown to an area trauma center to be treated. The extent of the victim’s injuries are unknown at this time. We’ll bring more details as they become available from the Highway Patrol.
