Anderson Man arrested for shooting Ex-girlfriend

An Anderson man sits behind bars charged with shooting at his ex-girlfriend and another man back in June. Investigators with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Javaris Deaquan Hill for attempted murder after deputies say he fired a handgun in a drive-by shooting on South Main Street Extension. The June 2 incident happened around 10:15am. Neither victim was injured. They told deputies that they knew the suspect but did not know where he lived. Hill was arrested on Nov. 15 during a separate investigation and while incarcerated, he was served with the two outstanding warrants for attempted murder. He was also charged with one count of obstructing justice. Hill is being held without bond at the Anderson County Detention Center.
