Anderson Man charged in Copper Thefts from Cellular Buildings

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said an Anderson man has been charged with multiple offenses related to burglaries at cellular buildings.  32-year-old Jonathan Moore stands charged with burglary, grand larceny and injury to real property. According to arrest warrants, Moore broke into a T-Mobile building on March 25, where he stole $11,000 worth of copper wire and caused over $15,000 in damage. Warrants state that on March 31, he forced entry into an AT&T building and stole $7,000 worth of copper wiring and caused over $5,000 in damage to that facility. Moore is currently being held at the Anderson County Detention Center on a $56,000 bond.
