Anderson Water Customers urged to conserve Water

Boil water advisory remains in affect for customers served by the Anderson Regional Joint Water System. Water reserves are extremely low and customers are urged to conserve water. A return to normal will be posted, as soon as officials feel an adequate level of storage has returned to the tanks. It is anticipated that the boil water advisory will remain in affect until past 1pm Friday, when samples are to be tested. Thursday afternoon, the Anderson Regional Joint Water System was pumping water to Clemson, but the reserves for all of the water service providers were severely depleted during the emergency. A limited supply provided by adjoining Central has allowed Clemson to maintain adequate emergency water.
