Another Warning to Target Customers

Millions of Target customers are checking their financial statements closer this holiday season after an attack by hackers. Now the company is warning about strange emails stating your information has been stolen. Target announced in early December that hackers stole credit and debit card numbers and names.  However, company executives said they have no reason to believe that personal identification numbers were compromised. Now the company is warning about phishing emails, which is where scammers send an email saying your money is not safe.  Officials say never give out your credit card number, social security number, and personal identification number over the phone.  Also, watch your statements for charges you did not make and report them immediately.
