Apology Issued to Oconee Municipal Association Last Night

Seneca City Council Member Joel Ward was succeeded by West Union Mayor Linda Oliver as chair of the Oconee Municipal Association last night during their first meeting in four years. Ward apologized to the group last night and took the blame for not calling meetings since 2018….

Ward spoke at the beginning of last night’s meeting. The failure to meet was further described as both unfortunate and a hinderance to the county’s progress which could have been made toward better government by the county’s five towns and cities.
