April is Research and Innovation Month at CU

Clemson University will celebrate the role research plays, on campus and beyond, during the month of April with activities highlighting the academic excellence and scholarship of its students and faculty. Research and Innovation Month kicks off Monday with a thesis competition that will challenge research students to communicate the significance of their projects to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes. Other events include a research forum that will address current issues and trends; award ceremonies honoring the achievements of faculty and students; and activities that will promote studies being conducted in the arts, humanities, sciences, business and engineering. In addition, a variety of lectures on such topics as entrepreneurship, nanotechnology, healthcare, social engineering and manufacturing will be presented as part of Research and Innovation Month.
