Area Independence Day Events

In addition to the annual fireworks display in Seneca at Gignilliat Field featuring a concert by The Tams, other communities are celebrating our Nation’s Independence.

July 1st thru July 4th Main Street Walhalla will host live music Friday and Saturday night, carnival rides Thursday thru Saturday evenings, and a fireworks display will cap off events on Saturday night.

In Anderson County, starting at 8:00am on Saturday, First Flight Alliance will hold “America’s 5k” with proceeds benefiting Operation Active Kids. Also on Saturday, July 3 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm, The City of Pickens will feature live music from The Carolina Beggars and a fireworks show at the Pickens Amphitheater, and in Central, from 5:00pm until 10:00pm, the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce will host Clemsonfest, with fireworks starting at 9:30pm.

When: Sunday night, July 4th. Gates open at 8pm.
Events: Fireworks around 9:30pm

Anderson County
America’s 5k, A Fourth of July Celebration!
Who: First Flight Alliance
Where: Anderson County Courthouse, 100 S. Main St., Anderson.
When: Saturday, July 3 at 8 a.m.
Events: One-mile run starts at 8 a.m. 5k run starts at 8:30 a.m.

4th of July Weekend 
Who: Big Water Marina & Campground
Where: Big Water Marina & Campground, 320 Big Water Road, Starr.
When: Saturday, July 3 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Events: Food trucks, live music and a fireworks show. The Blood Connection will also be hosting a blood drive.

First Annual Honea Path Independence Day Celebration
Who: The town of Honea Path

Events: Live music, food and drink vendors, playground, bouncy houses, retail and craft vendors, free swimming in the Chiquola pool, fireworks show and parade.

Historic Easley 4th of July Festival

Annual Freedom Celebration
