Arrests in Oconee for illegal camping on forest land

According to jail records, two individuals from South Carolina were arrested back on March 25 following an investigation into illegal camping on forest land. Corey West Quinn, a 27-year-old man from Greenville, and Magen Charlene Doffee, a 37-year-old woman from Easley, were taken into custody in Oconee.

Doffee faces charges including violation on wildlife managed lands, giving false information, possession or sale of a stolen vehicle worth more than $10,000, and resisting arrest. Her combined bond amount is set at $19,860.

Quinn was charged with violation on wildlife managed lands, malicious injury to personal property less than $2,000, possession or sale of a stolen vehicle between $2,000 and $10,000 and giving false information. His combined bond amount is set at $20,775.

Both arrests were confirmed by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. The investigation is ongoing.
