The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in locating two suspects wanted for Attempted Murder.

18-year-old Truett Gregory Brock of Seneca and 19-year-old Anthony Michael Seagraves, both of Seneca, have been charged with one count each of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime and Discharging a Firearm into a Dwelling.

The charges stem from an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred yesterday evening at an address on Oak Creek Road near Seneca.

Deputies were initially called to a business address on Highway 123 near Seneca yesterday evening after man in his vehicle was blocked in and not allowed to leave the business parking lot by the driver of a red Toyota Rav-4. The driver of the Toyota then left the scene, and the man then left the business to go home.

Approximately 10-15 minutes later, the man observed the same Toyota, which then followed him home. Once on scene, shots were fired from the Toyota Rav 4 towards the man and the home on the property. The Sheriff’s Office is not aware of any injuries as a result of the shooting.

The investigation was turned over to an Investigator from the Criminal Investigations Bureau. Evidence was collected from the scene. Based on the evidence obtained, Investigators were able to determine that Brock and Seagraves were in the Toyota when the shooting occurred and were subsequently charged.

Due to the nature of the crime, the victim’s name will not be released.

Brock is currently out on bond due to previous arrests earlier this year. On February 28th, the Sheriff’s Office arrested Brock on four charges, including a charge of Attempted Murder, in relation to a shooting incident that occurred on White Pine Drive in Fair Play which occurred on the same date as his arrest.
