Autopsy released in Westminster Homicide

An autopsy was conducted Wednesday on the body of 71-year-old Donald Lee Davis of 105 Jefferson Drive in the Foxwood Hills Development of Westminster. Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis said that he died as a result of heart and lung trauma due to stabbing injuries. The exam showed Davis sustained multiple stab injuries. Due to the ongoing investigation by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, no further information was released. This death has been classified as a homicide. Two suspects, John Black, Jr. and Christine Davis Black, the daughter of the victim, stand charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Investigators believe that an altercation occurred and Davis was stabbed. Both suspects were arrested in Hart County, Georgia where they await extradition back to South Carolina.
