Voting has officially begun for the Oconee County Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner “Spotlight Oconee”. Each year, the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce recognizes outstanding businesses and individuals for their contributions to the growth and improvement of OconeeCounty. The recognition takes place at the Chamber’s annual meeting, where Chamber members also hear about the Chamber’s future plans and vision for the future. The public is welcomed and encouraged to vote for their favorites by visiting the Oconee Chamber’s website at www.oconeechambersc.com or by calling 864-882-2087 through May 9.  All awards winners will be announced at Spotlight Oconee on May 20. “Everyone deserves some appreciation when they work hard, the Chamber is pleased that we have 35 business and individuals we can highlight and celebrate with at Spotlight Oconee,” concluded Jillian Lusk, executive director of the Greater Oconee County Chamber of Commerce. Everyone is invited to Spotlight Oconee and celebrate with the Chamber and local businesses. Spotlight Oconee will be held at 5:30pm on May 20 at the Lighthouse Restaurant in Seneca. Tickets are $35 and are available online.
