Baby Dies a Month After Elbert County, GA Crash

A month ago today, on February 5, a tragic accident occurred in Elberton, resulting in the death of three individuals and injuries to four others, as reported by the Elbert County Coroner’s Office.

The collision, which took place around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Jones Ferry Road and Athens Highway, involved two vehicles. At the scene, 33-year-old Breanna Parham and her 16-year-old daughter, Rhiana Ramey, were declared deceased.

Following the incident, five individuals were transported to the hospital for treatment. Two of them, critically injured, were airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital, while the remaining three, with injuries not threatening their lives, were transported by EMS. Sadly, Breanna Parham’s 1-month-old daughter, Oaklee Parham, succumbed to her injuries last Monday, as later confirmed by the Elbert County Coroner’s Office.

The Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating.
