Be Sure You’re Wearing Your Mask Properly

When you wear a mask to protect against COVID-19, you need to wear it properly and don’t it take off, touch your face, and then put the mask back on.

In light of the closure of Oconee County’s facilities due to a recent spike of COVID-19 among county employees, this advice seems like it might be a little late.

At Tuesday night’s County Council meeting, District Two Representative Wayne McCall asked County Administrator Amanda Brock if employees have been taught how to properly wear their face coverings…

Brock did not rule out the possible need for local government leaders to instruct the public on the sanitary and proper way to wear a mask.
