Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative Announces Crowd In Excess Of 6,000 For Recent Annual Meeting Of Members
(Seneca, SC)———————Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative announced recently that a crowd in excess of 6,000 were in attendance last Thursday for their 2019 Annual Meeting of Members at the Cooperative’s Pickens equipment facility.
The 79th meeting hosted multiple musical groups and during the meeting, CEO and President Jim Lovinggood announced that the Cooperative had a solid financial performance in 2018, with earning margins of $7.5 million dollars.
Also announced is that Pickens County director Spencer Dalton was elected to another three year term on the Board of Directors. Oconee County District’s Joel Davis will also return to office with opposition.
