Bobcats corral Mustangs at Liberty

With heavy rains forecast, the Seneca Bobcats (6-0, 3-0) traveled to Liberty Friday night for their home game versus the Palmetto Mustangs (3-3, 0-3). Seneca dominated from the opening whistle, winning 69-13. Bobcat senior quarterback Elijah Turner threw four touchdown passes, two to Coleman Smith and one each to Daquan Mackey and Chris Latimer. Turner also rushed for a score, as did Latimer. Bobcat senior running back Braxton Gambrell added a seven-yard touchdown run and Jacory Benson took a handoff in from 65-yards out. In addition, Seneca had two pick sixes with Chris Webb intercepting a pass and returning it 20 yards for a score and Jess Smith returning an interception 40 yards for a touchdown. The Bobcats hit the road again on Friday to face the Pickens Blue Flame.
