Bobcats slay Lions to stay Undefeated
The Seneca Bobcats finished the regular season undefeated Friday night by slaying the Daniel Lions 35-17. The Bobcats (10-0) were lead by senior running back Braxton Gambrell who scored touchdowns on runs of 14 and 35-yards. Bobcat junior running back Jacory Benson added two touchdowns on runs of 5 and 9-yards. Seneca senior quarterback Elijah Turner connected with senior wide receiver Daquan Mackey for a 10-yard score. Bobcat sophomore kicker Hunter Pearson was good on all five of his extra point attempts as well. The Seneca Bobcats must now wait a week before learning their first round playoff opponent as schools in the Midlands and Lowcountry wrap up their regular seasons on Nov. 6 after historic flooding delayed games the first week in October.
