Boil Water Advisory issued for parts of Clemson

The City of Clemson advises the residents along Essex Drive, Cochran Road, Boggs Street, Elm Street, Clemson Street and Calhoun Street to boil their water for at least one-full minute prior to drinking or cooking. Residents should continue to boil their water until otherwise notified by the City of Clemson. Also, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes. This advisory is being issued as a precaution only due to a water line tie in on the new 10-inch water main. The City of Clemson will collect water samples in this area. You may refer to the City of Clemson’s website at www.cityofclemson.org for updated information.
