Bond Set for Two Defendants Accused of Attempted Murder

Judge Cordell Maddox issued rulings yesterday in Oconee General Sessions Court that will afford two defendants, each accused of attempted murder in separate cases, the opportunity to get out of jail before their trial dates.

Tyler Benjamin Robinson

Tyler Benjamin Robinson’s bond was set at $35,000. However, there are conditions. Maddox ordered Robinson must be placed on GPS monitoring, is restricted to his parents’ home, except for school, work, church and doctor and lawyer appointments.

According to prosecutor Jason Alderman, 18-year old Robinson is one of four co-defendants accused of deliberately following a car from a convenience store and firing a gun that wounded a passenger in the pursued vehicle.

Matthew Dillard Fowler

In a second bond-setting yesterday, Judge Maddox set a $75,000 bond for Matthew Dillard Fowler, who is charged with attempted murder of a person with whom he rode in the same car.
