Boyd and Freeman named First-Team All-Americans

Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd and center Dalton Freeman have both been named first-team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association.   Both players are the first to make a first-team All-America team at their position in Clemson history. This is just the third time since the American Football Coaches Association began selecting an All-America team in 1945 that the quarterback and center were from the same team.  Clemson was one of four schools with at least two selections. Alabama had three, while Clemson, Texas A&M and Stanford had two apiece.
