Brace for another round of Cold Weather

The South Carolina Emergency Management Division encourages everyone in the state to be prepared for below freezing conditions that are forecast this week. The National Weather Service predicts average temperatures to be around freezing beginning on Thursday morning and running through the rest of the week. Forecasters do not expect rain or snow. Remember to keep exposure to cold weather to a minimum. If you must go outside, dress in layers and cover your ears, head and hands. Residents are encouraged to check on elderly and at-risk neighbors and relatives due to the cold temperatures. In addition, prepare a place indoors for pets.
