Brandon Burton Makes Exit from Local Government

During a meeting of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority, Walhalla’s Brandon Burton was honored by his municipal colleagues from Oconee’s tri-cities, who stood and applauded as he entered the room in respect of his service on the sewer policy board.

The meeting was Burton’s last before he leaves to pursue a career change in Virginia. Seneca’s city administrator, Scott Moulder, praised Burton for his time as a sewer commissioner, Walhalla city administrator, and Walhalla fire chief, saying he will be missed. Burton expressed gratitude for his experiences, saying “I’ve learned a lot.”
