Brass Knuckles Confiscated From November Incident, According to Warrants; Suspect now in Custody

Austin Tyrell Cousins was arrested on Friday by Seneca Police and charged with Second Degree Assault and Battery by Mob with Serious Injury. Bond on that charge was set at $50,000 and he is also being held for another agency.

Cousins is accused in a warrant of causing head and neck injuries to an individual on November 7 at a business on Hwy 123 By-pass. Investigating officers at the scene located a pair of brass knuckles and later met with the victim of the alleged assault at a local hospital.

Officers noted blood on the victim’s head, face and hands, and issued warrants for Cousins, who remains in jail currently at the Oconee County Detention Center.
