Braves bounce back with win over Marlins

Coming off a frustrating weekend with the Phillies, the Atlanta Braves bounced back to regular form with a 5-2 win over the Miami Marlins Monday night. All of the Braves’ hits and runs came in the midst of a fourth-inning eruption that backed an impressive Kris Medlen and helped snap a four-game losing streak. The Braves right-hander surrendered three hits, all singles, through the first six innings and then three more while facing just four batters in Miami’s two-run seventh inning.  With the win, the Braves trim down their magic number to win the National League East to eight with 19 games remaining.  The Atlanta Braves are now 86-57 on the season.  Catch all the exciting action of Atlanta Braves baseball here on WSNW.
