Braves fall to Brewers

Feeling a little hung-over after celebrating their first National League Eastern Division Title since 2005, the Atlanta Braves lost to the Milwaukee Brewers Monday night, 5-0 at Turner Field.  This is the Braves final homestand of the regular season before they begin their playoff run.  The loss drops Atlanta’s Major League-best home record to 52-23 and holds the Braves’ magic number for clinching home-field advantage throughout the National League playoffs at five. The Cardinals’ 4-3 victory over the Nationals brought St. Louis to within a half-game of the Braves for the NL’s best record. The Atlanta Braves are 92-64 on the season.
