Braves loose on road to Padres

Home runs by Atlanta’s Evan Gattis and Jason Heyward in the ninth inning were not enough for the Braves to overcome early runs in Monday night’s 7-6 loss to the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. The Braves entered the ninth inning with a 7-2 deficit, scored four runs, Gattis’ three-run home run and a solo shot from Heyward but fell one run short in the big comeback effort. The Atlanta Braves are now 39-25 on the season.  Catch all the exciting action of Atlanta Braves baseball here on WSNW.
