Braves win and lose against Mets

It was good and bad news for the Atlanta Braves Wednesday night in New York, as the Braves beat the New York Mets 4-1 at Citi Field.  However, they lost one of their star players when Mets pitcher Jonathon Niese delivered a pitch that hit Jason Heyward’s right jaw. Heyward fell to the ground and was taken out of the game.  An X-ray later revealed that Heyward broke his jaw in two places and will be out of the lineup for at least six weeks.  The Braves got some redemption in the tenth inning when Chris Johnson hit a three-run home run for the win. The Atlanta Braves are now 77-49 on the season.  Catch all the exciting action of Atlanta Braves baseball here on WSNW.
