Bullying Still a Problem in Schools, Says Local Resident

Margaret Harper, a 52-year Oconee resident, implored the county school trustees to step up efforts to rid the public schools of bullying. Harper held the trustees’ attention for ten minutes at the start of Monday night’s meeting and declared that bullying causes serious harm to children. In her plea, Harper conceded that no one can likely stop bullying in schools altogether.
