Burglars arrested by Seneca Police

Two suspects sit behind bars charged with multiple offenses in a Seneca Police Department investigation into recent home burglaries. Seneca Police Chief John Covington reports that 20-year-old Devin Ian McCrackin of Walhalla and 30-year-old Timothy Jason King of Seneca stand charged in warrants with larceny, burglary, weapons possession and financial identity fraud. The charges stem from a home burglary that occurred sometime between May 21-24 on Lakeview Drive, where a gun cabinet was broken into at the home. Chief Covington credits collaboration by his officers at the Seneca Police Department and deputies with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office in making the arrests within days of the burglary.
