Candidates Forum Held Monday Night in Seneca

The forum aimed to introduce the candidates running for a vacant seat on Seneca’s 8-member city council ahead of the upcoming Special Election Day, which is scheduled for one week from today. The event provided an opportunity for four out of the five candidates to present themselves to the audience.

Ernest E. Riley, a former city council member, expressed his support for youth activities, while Delanio Taylor highlighted his diverse experiences in education, athletics, and social spheres…

The candidates then proceeded to answer questions prepared by the League of Women Voters, as well as queries submitted by the audience members in written form.

Notably, candidate Jim Sites was not present at the event.
