Car Reported Stolen From NC Located In Seneca, Suspect Arrested

According to reports from the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday at around 1:00 am deputies arrested 35 year-old Daniel Ray Grimstad of Seneca and charged him with two counts of neglect, as well as possession of a stolen vehicle and distribution of meth.

An alert from On Star led deputies to the car in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Seneca. It had been reported stolen from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Grimstad was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center to await bond proceedings.
