Carolina Alliance expands into Seneca

Carolina Alliance Bank announces it is expanding into Seneca. The Spartanburg-based community bank recently received regulatory approval to open a branch office at 135 Eagles Nest Drive, Suite K in Seneca.  The office is expected to open late in the fourth quarter of this year.  “We are delighted to be expanding our service into Seneca and the surrounding areas with the opening of our second location,” said Carolina Alliance President and CEO, John Poole. “This is a tremendous community and we look forward to being a part of it.” Veteran banker C. Kyle Thomas, who is an executive vice president and commercial banking officer at Carolina Alliance, will be the local executive. Thomas has more than 25 years of banking experience in the Upstate, with the most recent being as president and chief executive officer of Seneca National Bank, which was acquired by new owners. “I am very excited about continuing my banking career in Seneca with the expansion of Carolina Alliance,” Thomas said. “We see the opening of our new Seneca location as a means of extending good, friendly, community banking to Seneca and the surrounding area.”
