Earthquake confirmed in WNC

The U.S. Geological Survey confirms there was an earthquake in western North Carolina Tuesday around 12:15pm. A 2.7 magnitude earthquake happened near Robbinsville. The U.S. Geological Survey say earthquakes less than a magnitude of 3 are not felt except by a very few under especially favorable conditions.
