Funds approved to repave Walhalla Street

The City of Walhalla announces that funds have been approved to resurface seven streets inside the city limits. The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) recently approved $285,000 to repave Lucas Street, Jaynes Street, Verner Street, East Wesley Street, Gerber Street, Parker Street, and part of South Spring Street. Paving is scheduled to start in the spring.
