City of Seneca Council to Discuss Capital Planning and Sign Construction

The City of Seneca Council will hold a work session and a special called meeting on Tuesday, November 28, at 6:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers. The meeting will be open to the public and will include a public comment period.

The council will discuss two topics during the work session: the capital planning model and the adoption of Appendix H of the International Building Code. The capital planning model is a tool that helps the city plan and prioritize its capital projects and expenditures. The adoption of Appendix H of the International Building Code will regulate the design, construction, and maintenance of signs in the city.

After the work session, the council will vote on the capital planning model. The council will then enter into an executive session to discuss a legal matter involving potential litigation. The council may take action on this matter after returning from the executive session.

The meeting will adjourn after the city administrator, Scott Moulder, and the city attorney, R. Boatner Bowman, give their reports.

The agenda for the meeting can be found on the city’s website.
