Clemson City Council Defines Tethering

Clemson City Council met last night and heard the second reading of an ordinance to impose a fine of $120 on those who park in the city’s parking deck between 4:00am and 7:00am. The ordinance was passed by the council.

Another topic of debate was the first reading of an ordinance to amend the city’s definition of tethering and regulations on how and when an animal can be tethered inside the City of Clemson. Councilman Bob Brookover opposed the measure…

The measure passed by a vote of 5-1. Council hears the second reading of the ordinance at their next meeting on September 6th.
