Clemson City Council Meeting Monday Night

Clemson City Council will gather in City Hall on Monday night at 6:30pm for their regular meeting. On the agenda, the council is scheduled to discuss and set a public hearing on a Zoning Ordinance amendment that would clarify that “Help Wanted” signs are allowed but limited to 9 sq./ft.

Another item up for discussion, and for which the council will set a public hearing, is a Zoning Ordinance amendment that would require most higher density residential developments to install pet waste stations if they are going to allow pets.

The council will hear and consider the second reading of an ordinance to the city code that would require a city permit for events held on private property that meet certain criteria. Police Chief Jorge Campos is slated to address the council on that issue. Monday night’s meeting of the Clemson City Council is open to the public.

Also, this note from the City of Clemson — The Kite Hill recycling center is closed through Monday — due to Hurricane Ian and Clemson’s home football game Saturday night. The facility intends to re-open on Tuesday, October 4.
