Clemson contributes to Digital Public Library

Clemson University is now sharing its knowledge and resources with the rest of the world.  Clemson University Libraries has been recognized as a contributor to the creation of The Digital Public Library of America, a portal that delivers millions of materials found in American archives, libraries, museums and cultural heritage institutions to students, teachers, scholars and the public. Clemson Libraries provided the digital library with access to Clemson and South Carolina library materials for its launch earlier this year. Clemson also used digitized items to develop “This Land is Your Land: Parks and Public Spaces,” an exhibit featuring an exploration of the history, impact and significance of national parks and protected areas curated by the South Carolina Digital Library. Clemson is featured as a contributor on the The Digital Public Library of America home page.
