Clemson named Military Friendly School

Clemson University has been named to the 2014 Military Friendly Schools list, which honors the 20% of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus. Victory Media publish the list, a media organization for military personnel transitioning to civilian life. Clemson has a rich military heritage, dating back to its founding as an all-male military college in 1889. Beginning with the first graduating class of 1896, more than 10,000 Clemson men and women have served in the armed forces. Approximately 150 current Clemson students are military veterans.
