Clemson Police need help finding Assault Suspect

Clemson City Police are looking for a man who they say assaulted a woman outside her apartment earlier this month. The incident happened on Aug. 9 at Falls Landing Apartment on Old Central Road. According to reports, the woman said she was outside her apartment when someone came from behind and forced her inside the apartment. Then she reports being choked until she passed out. When she awoke, she saw a man trying to steal a TV. She says the man ran from the apartment once he realized she had regained consciousness. Police are seeking the whereabouts of Charnel Wayne Johnson on first-degree burglary and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature charges. His last know address was in the City of Pickens.
