Clemson sponsoring Shred-It Event

The City of Clemson invites the community to beat identity theft by shredding it. On Saturday, May 2, from 9am to noon, bring all the unwanted personal documents you can carry for shredding. Shred-It mobile trucks will shred documents free of charge in the Clemson City Hall parking lot at 1250 Tiger Boulevard. Representatives will also be offering tips on protecting yourself from identity theft. There is a limit of four bags or boxes of residential material to be shred. A food drive tent will be accepting donations of canned and non-perishable food items to benefit Clemson Community Care. Saturday’s free community event is sponsored by the City of Clemson and Shred-It.
