Clemson Student charged with assaulting Police

A Clemson University student was arrested early Saturday and charged with assaulting two university police officers.  According to university police department reports, 20-year-old Jordan Philip Parker of Nashville, Tennessee, a sophomore engineering student, was charged with a felony count of assault of a police officer during the serving process or while resisting arrest.  The incident happened just after 3:45am on Saturday outside Sanders Hall, a student residence building. Parker also was charged with two misdemeanor counts of malicious injury to personal property valued at $2,000 or less for a broken windshield and two damaged security cameras.  He was also charged with public disorderly conduct.  Parker was released on $8,392 personal recognizance bonds.
