Clemson sweeps Wright State

Scott Firth pitched eight scoreless innings of five-hit ball and the Tigers broke the game open with five two-out runs in the seventh inning to win 7-0 over Wright State at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Sunday afternoon.  The Tigers, who swept the series 3-0 and improved to 6-0 all-time against Wright State, upped their record to 5-1 on the season.  Clemson will host Winthrop at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Tuesday at 4pm.
