Clemson to Hold Public Hearing on Infrastructure Project

The City of Clemson is seeking a Community Development Block Grant of almost $686,000 to replace water lines and non-standard hydrants east of the corporate limits. The project aims to benefit 113 people in the area east of Anderson Highway between New Hope Road, Pendleton Road, and Old Stone Church Road, providing increased fire protection and improved water pressure. Clemson would need to supplement the grant with $68,591 in local funds. A public hearing will be held on Monday, April 3, at 5:30 pm at City Hall, where comments and questions about the project are welcome.
